we nerd out on numbers
Crackerjack Bookkeeping was started by Jenny Maxwell to serve small to medium-sized businesses and non-profits in the East Bay and San Francsico. With years of financial experience and a love of solving problems, Jenny is a master at helping her clients succeed.
Having co-founded and run her own successful apparel company, The Cat’s Pajamas, for over 15 years, Jenny offers a unique perspective to the companies she works with. She knows from having her own business how important it is to have thorough and accurate bookkeeping practices. While she herself loved taking charge of the accounting at The Cat’s Pajamas, Jenny realizes that bookkeeping is certainly not everyone’s passion and that the time of many entrepreneurs can be better spent working on the core of their mission, while leaving the bookkeeping to someone else!
Crackerjack Bookkeeping is happy to work with the systems their clients already have in place, but also welcomes the opportunity to recommend new procedures and efficiencies. Do you have data you’d love to pull out of your books? Crackerjack can develop a strategy to meet that goal. Do you have messy books that have grown unwieldy from mismanagement? Crackerjack can help them get untangled. Just getting started? Crackerjack can help you set up your books, and can even give you QuickBooks coaching if you want to tackle things yourself.
Jenny Maxwell is a graduate of Stanford University, a hopelessly devoted A’s fan, and a longtime volunteer at Berkeley’s municipal animal shelter where she serves as board president for Friends of Berkeley Animal Care Services.
