The definition of Crackerjack is “a person or thing marked by excellence,” and I can assure you that in the case of Jenny Maxwell’s Crackerjack Bookkeeping, this is absolutely true. Jenny took over for us as bookkeeper after using a large, expensive firm that had not only been on autopilot with our bookkeeping, they had neglected critical details that tangled our books in to a giant mess.
Jenny’s best asset is her curiosity, and her understanding that the numbers logged in to an accounting system tell a story, have a background and history, and possess their own quirks. Until all of this is understood, you cannot produce an accurate set of numbers. Jenny wants to know everything about how and why a figure is arrived at, and she cares about the story. She is devoted to creating a strong process, and she will follow through on details with thoroughness and accuracy.
Additionally, her thrifty nature allows her to analyze expenses and make recommendations, including the expense of her own time. She has a sense of economy and efficiency that is unusual in consultancy.
She is whip-smart, driven, focused and an absolute pleasure to work with. Our company has a complicated invoicing process, which has often times been drudgery, however, I look forward to tackling these issues with Jenny because of her wit and tenacity. She makes bookkeeping a pleasure and we have the best set of numbers we’ve ever had. I cannot recommend her enough!
